Jenny Milkowski- Biography

Jenny Milkowski was born on January 14, 1984, in Chicago, Illinois, USA, and grew up in the Northern neighborhood, which is a Polish neighborhood – Jenny’s parents were both born and reared in Poland. Jenny’s mother completed her nursing training in Tarnow, Poland, in the 1970s, and then immigrated to the United States when she was 21. Jenny’s father moved to Chicago with his brothers and mother when he was seven years old. Milkowski’s parents met in Jenny’s paternal grandfather’s shop and married soon after.

Jenny and her younger sister, Diana, struggled to learn English in preschool; they attended Loyola Academy in Wilmette, and she went to a St. Constance Polish school on the Northwest Side on Saturdays.

Education Details

Jenny was fluent in two languages because she attended regular school and was able to speak English fluently by first grade. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2002 to 2006, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism at the age of 22. Jenny worked as a news anchor for the student-run radio station WPGU 107.1 throughout her stay at university.

Jenny also studied acting at The Second City Training Center and the Acting Studio Chicago, as well as on-camera hosting, acting, and voice-over for numerous years at The Second City Chicago.
