Early Years and Professional life

Kleeb began acting on stage in the late 1920s in Portland, Oregon, where she studied at the Ellison-White Conservatory of Music. In Portland, she also got her first taste of radio. She did voices for the radio show Candy Matson from 1949 to 1951. Kleeb appeared as a guest star on Jeannie Carson’s show Hey, Jeannie! from 1956 to 1957. Kleeb played Miss Claridge, a legal secretary, on the sitcom Harrigan and Son during the 1960–1961 television season.
