Bibb relocated to Stockholm, where he immersed himself in pre-war blues and the newly discovered world music scene, all the while continuing to write and perform. Good Stuff was released on Opus 3 and the American label Earthbeat in 1997. Bibb signed with the British-based Code Blue label, but only released one album, Me to You, which featured Pops and Mavis Staples, as well as Taj Mahal, as personal heroes. This was followed by tours of the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, France, Sweden, and Germany. In the late 1990s, Bibb formed Manhaton Records in the United Kingdom with his then-manager Alan Robinson.
