A Major League Baseball outfielder with the Oakland Athletics in the United States (MLB). Previously, he was a member of the St. Louis Cardinals. He was drafted first overall by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2012 Major League Baseball draft after playing college baseball for Stanford Cardinal baseball. On July 21, 2015, he made his major league debut and was named the Cardinals’ organization Player of the Year. After the 2017 season, he was traded to the Athletics by the Cardinals.
