Childhood

Kendra Scott was born on March 27, 1974, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and spent her childhood there. Kendra and her family moved to Houston, Texas, when she was 16 years old. She graduated from Klein High School there. Kendra fell in love and followed a boy at such a young age when most people have great fantasies. As a result, she attended Texas A&M University for at least one year before dropping out and relocating to Austin, Texas. When she went to Austin with her ailing stepfather, she was 19 years old. Kendra Scott founded “The Hat Box,” a company that specializes in comfortable hats and designs for women undergoing chemotherapy.
