Randy Pausch- Biography

Randy Pausch was a computer science professor in the United States and the author of the New York Times best-selling book The Last Lecture. Pausch was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and raised in Columbia, South Carolina (Maryland).

Randy Pausch- Relationship, Married Life

Randy Pausch, a well-known college professor, and scientist was married to Jai Glasgow, whom he met at a conference. The woman who would ultimately become Pausch’s future wife immediately struck Pausch. Randy had even asked her out on a date.

However, Jai was first uninterested in him. The professor, on the other hand, got a ‘Yes’ from Jai and later invited her to an event he was attending the next day. Randy and Jai married in a quiet wedding under a 100-year-old oak tree in May 2000, surrounded by close friends and family members.

Jai proved herself to be a true wife by standing by Randy till his last breath on his deathbed. Randy and Jai had three children together: Dylan Pausch, Logan Pausch, and Chloe Pausch. Furthermore, Jai was a divorced woman before meeting Randy, and her marriage to his college classmate destroyed her trust in marriage and finding love again.

Jai married for the third time with Rich Essenmacher after Randy died in 2008. Jai met Rich, a retired naval officer, online. And, according to Jai, it was difficult for her to leave Randy, but she eventually accepted that she would never find love again following Pausch’s death. In 2012, Jai married Rich.
