Mark Cuban is an American Businessman, investor and the owner of the NBA’s famous team Dallas Mavericks. He has also tried his hands in the entertainment industry named Landmark Theatres and Mangolia Pictures. He is the chairman of the HDTV cable network AXS TV.

Mark was born in a Jewish Family in Pittusburg Pennisvalyia.  His father worked as an automobile upholsterer. Mark first stepped into business at the age of twelve, when he started selling garbage bags to buy expensive basketball shoes. On the educational front, he attended Mount Lebanon High School. By the time he was in high school, he worked as a bartender, party promoter and disco dancing instructor.

He started taking psychology classes at the University of Pittsburgh his junior year in high school. He skipped his senior year and enrolled full time at college. He directly went ahead to the University of Pittsburgh. Hardworking and self reliant by nature, he started giving dance tuitions to children to pay his tuition fees. He started his career at the Mellon Bank. However, his desire to explore made him move to Dallas in 1982.On the enterpreniual front; he formed his own consulting business, Micros Solutions.  The next big break came with Broadcast.com.
