James McAvoy is a Scottish actor. He rose to prominence after appearing in the 2006 film The Last King of Scotland as Dr. Nicholas Garrigan.

Later, he also landed some brilliant roles in the movies like Atonement as well as in the X-Men series.

Furthermore, he has also won the BAFTA Rising Star Award and the BAFTA Scotland Award in 2006 for The Last King of Scotland.
