She is the child of Alhaji Bollington and Alhaji Musibau Okuneye. She was raised with eleven siblings.

In addition, Idris is of mixed ancestry and has Nigerian nationality.

Regarding her educational history, she graduated from both King’s High School and Okata High School. Later, she earned a BSc in Accounting from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
