Who is Choi Si-won?
Choi Si-won is a well-known South Korean singer, actor, model, philanthropist, and composer. He is best known as a member of the South Korean boy band “Super Junior.”
Choi served as a special representative for UNICEF Korea from 2015 to 2019, before being appointed as a regional ambassador for the UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional Office in November 2019.
He was recently seen in Bloodhounds and Soolkkundoshiyeojadeul in 2023. He is currently working on his forthcoming project Death’s Game.

Choi Si-won, also known as Siwon, was born on April 7, 1986, in Seoul, South Korea. Si-won is currently 37 years old and born under the sign of Aries.
He is of Asian origin and possesses Korean nationality. Si-won is a fervent Protestant Christian who indicated in an interview that he plans to become a missionary after completing his entertainment career.
Ji-won, his younger sister, is his only sibling. Similarly, Choi Ki-ho, his father, was the former CEO of Boryung Medicine, a pharmaceutical firm, and he runs a trade company in Japan.
He also has a mother, Byun Jae-jeong, who is a diplomat and owns her own business. The family also controls the Hyundai Department Store, which is one of Korea’s major grocery chains.
Education, School, College
Choi Si-won also graduated from ‘Apgu Jeong High School’ in February 2006 and Inha University in February 2012. Furthermore, he enrolled in the military as a conscripted police officer in 2015 and was released in 2017.
He has participated in several UNICEF initiatives since 2010. He was chosen as the special representative of the South Korean Committee for UNICEF on November 12, 2015.
