Tech N9ne is a well-known American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor. Strange Music was formed by him and his business partner Travis O’Guin.
He has also worked with labels such as RBC, JCOR/Interscope, Qwest, Prospective/A&M, and Warner Bros. He is the rapper who has sold over two million albums and has appeared in films, television shows, and video games.
Aaron has also received Left Field Woodie honors. He is also known for his roles in Vengeance, Big Money Restlas, and When I Was 17. His most recent album, Asin9ne, was released in 2021.

Aaron Dontez Yates, better known as Tech N9ne, was born on November 8, 1971, in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. Aaron is of American nationality and of the Afro-American race. He was raised in a strict Christian household.
He was born to Carlton Cook, who worked in the Police Department (LAPD). His father was a bad man who abandoned him when he was young.
He was born to his mother, Maude Sue Yates-Kalifah, who died in June 2014 from epilepsy and lupus. He grew up in the Wayne Miner projects with his grandmother, uncles, and aunts.
When Tech N9ne was 12 years old, his mother married Abdul Hassan Khalifah, a Muslim gentleman, and he moved into a new house with them, as well as having two half-brothers, Hakim Khalifah and Kiraameen Khalifah, and one half-sister, Basimah Khalifah, who is a YouTube beauty vlogger.
He was immersed in music, trying to perfect his rhythm and gaining recognition as a dancer and rapper, which caused him to clash with his stepfather, who was never a fan of rap music. At the age of 17, he finally left home to live with his grandma.

Tech N9ne was raised in a conservative Christian home and attended church multiple times a week, where he was introduced to religious music. He used to study Islam with his stepfather and sing gospel music with his mother at home.
He also attended Southwest High School for his official schooling. Aside from that, he has not disclosed his educational history or qualifications. He has also not disclosed what major he graduated in or whether he earned his university degree.
