Who is Ignacyo Matynia?

Ignacyo Matynia is a Polish-born American actor. He is well known for appearing in the TV shows Vida, and Forever, and in the films Dietland, Luke Cage, and My Nightmare Landlord.

Ignacyo Matynia’s birth took place on May 29, 1992, in Busko Zdroj, Poland. With his mother Doris Matynia and father, whose identity is not revealed, he moved to the United States in 1995. After relocating several times the family finally settled in Brooklyn, New York where he was raised.

Education, Ethnicity

Following high school graduation, Ignacyo Matynia studied at the State University of New York Albany in 2010 and had set up his mind for medical school. 

However there he discovered his passion for acting. Just a few credits shy of his Bachelor's Degree, Matynia dropped out of college in 2013 to pursue a career in acting while working part-time as a DJ/MC/Dancer at Trio Productions. Meanwhile, he attended acting classes as well as workshops across Manhattan.

His ethnicity is Polish.
