John Wall is an American basketball player, currently playing for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats for the 2009/10 season.

Johnathan Hildred Wall Jr. was born on 6 September 1990 to parents John Carroll Wall, Sr. and Frances Pulley. He grew up with half-brother John Carroll Wall Jr., a half-sister, Tonya Pulley and a sister Cierra Wall in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Wall attended Garner
Magnet High School and later repeated his sophomore year at Needham B.
Broughton High School. Afterward, he got transferred to Word of God Christian
Academy. He stands at a height of 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 meters) and weighs 210
lbs (95 kg).

John played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball from 2009 to 2010. He was drafted by the Washington Wizards with the first overall pick of the 2010 NBA draft.

Wall made his NBA debut for the Wizards in a 112–83 loss to the Orlando Magic. He is a skilled passer with the stats of averaging over 10 assists a game for the 2014 through 2017 seasons, and 9.2 overall for his career.
