She is an American interior designer and philanthropist who started her interior design business in 2009 and was named one of three new design team members for ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in 2010.
Later that year, she was named an Elle Décor A-List Designer, a Traditional Home Top-20 Design Icon, and one of the World’s Top 20 Interior Designers by Traditional Home. In terms of recognition, she received the Elle Décor Vision Award in 2011, the Royal Oak Foundation’s Timeless Design Award in 2012, and the 2013 Circle of Excellence.
Julie graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a two-year degree in fashion buying and merchandising after attending Parkway Central High School in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2005 and earned an MFA in Furniture Design in 2007.

Pierce established her interior design firm in 2009. She has decorated private residences throughout the United States and Canada. Athletes, entertainers, and politicians have all been previous clients. She was one of three new design team members for ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in 2010. She has collaborated with design firms to create licensed collections. She has created furniture and wallcoverings for Brunschwig & Fils, textiles for Fabricut, fine china for Pickard China, Century Furniture furniture and upholstery, Stark carpet, Agraria home fragrances, and framed decorative art for Soicher-Marin.
