Bergin is best recognized for being Mark Wahlberg’s replacement in Calvin Klein’s provocative black-and-white underwear commercials. Bergin has walked the runways in New York City, Paris, and Milan for Sonia Rykiel, Valentino, Calvin Klein, Gianfranco Ferré, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, and Donna Karan, and was the exclusive model for Claiborne for Men, a division of Liz Claiborne, Inc., for almost three years.
Bergin also dabbled in acting, starring as J.D. Darius on Baywatch and then Baywatch: Hawaii for 88 episodes from 1997 to 2001, and in the made-for-TV film Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding in 2003. He made an appearance on VH1’s science fiction celebrity reality show Celebrity Paranormal Project in 2006. Bergin went on to create his own line of men’s underpants.
