Ben Schwartz was born to his parents in The Bronx, New York, on 15 September 1981. He grew up in Riverdale, Northwestern Bronx neighborhood, with his sister Marni Beth. Although less well known, Ben’s father worked as a social worker before turning to real estate later on. His mother also worked as a music teacher.
The actor proudly hailed the Jewish heritage he had inherited from his family. Growing up, Ben attended Edgemont Junior High School.
