Caitlin Hale (Caitlin Mariah Hale) is an actress, singer, and writer from the United States. She is well recognized for her performance as Marta in the 2003 film School of Rock. In 2007, she also played Lucy’s sister in Julie Taymor’s Across the Universe. She had a penchant for entertainment since she was a child.

Local pageants, theater performances, and commercials provided Hale with opportunities to compete in her acting, singing, and dancing abilities. At the age of three, she performed in The Nutcracker at the New England Ballet Theatre. She later starred in Annie at Sacred Heart University.

She has sung the national anthem at both men’s and women’s basketball games at the University of Connecticut. Also appropriate for the state Republican convention. Hale began auditioning in New York City in 2002. Her professional acting career began with a day-playing role on the soap opera All My Children.

She rose to prominence in 2003 as Marta in Richard Linklater’s School of Rock. Marta was the chirpy, blonde backup singer with pigtail braids. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in 2013.
