Nancy Lynn McIntyre (born February 24, 1945) is a well-known American celebrity who hails from Kansas, in the United States of America. Tom Seaver is her husband, and she is best known for being his wife. Known by his full name, George Thomas Seaver (born November 17, 1944, died August 31, 2020), Tom Seaver was an American professional baseball pitcher who spent 20 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB).
In the years 1967 to 1986, he pitched as a right-handed pitcher for some clubs, including the New York Mets, the Cincinnati Reds, the Chicago White Sox, and the Boston Red Sox, amongst others. He was also referred to as “the Franchise” and “Tom Terrific” during his career. After being diagnosed with dementia and other health difficulties, it is alleged that the former Mets pitcher passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 75, according to reports. Tom was an integral part of the New York Mets’ World Series championship team victory in 1969. A relative said he died quietly at his home in Calistoga, Calif., as a result of complications from Lyme disease and dementia, according to family reports.
