She also follows breaking news from the Alert Desk in the morning on 7 News and hosts The Coronavirus Alert Desk, a program that connects viewers with facts and experts. It has reached more than 10 million viewers since the start of the pandemic.

Lindsey who has had a front-row seat to numerous history-making moments, was in the U.S. House gallery when members first voted to impeach President Donald Trump. During the vote to confirm a controversial Supreme Court justice, she also witnessed rare protests inside the Senate gallery. Lindsey has also had the chance to cover the inaugurations of President Joe Biden, President Donald Trump, and President Barack Obama in Washington, D.C. She also covered President Obama’s re-election in 2012 from the swing state of Ohio.
