Childhood

Carmen Electra was born on April 20, 1972, in Sharonville, Ohio, USA.

She was born under the sign of Taurus and will be 49 years old in 2021. Tara Leigh Patrick is her real birth name. Carmen Electra is the daughter of guitarist and entertainer Harry Patrick and singer Patricia Patrick. She also has American citizenship and is of mixed heritage, with Dutch, German, Irish, and English ancestors. Carmen Electra is also the youngest of six children in her well-to-do, well-known family. Patricia, her singer mother, died of brain cancer in August 1998.

Carmen Electra graduated from Ann Weigel Elementary School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She also studied dance at Dance Artists Studio with Gloria Simpson till the age of nine. Carmen Electra later went on to study at the School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) in Cincinnati, Ohio. Carmen Electra then transferred from SCPA to Sharonville’s Princeton High School, where she graduated in 1990. She finished her acting training after graduating from Cincinnati’s Barbizon Modeling and Acting School.

Career

Carmen Electra has always aspired to pursue a career in music and acting since she was a child. She also appeared in a Peter Pan performance with her junior classmate Nick Lachey. She began her career as a dancer in 1990, performing in the popular show “It’s Magic” at Kings Land amusement park in Ohio. In 1991, however, she relocated to California to pursue a singing career. Furthermore, after meeting Prince, she got a recording contract with Paisley Park Records. During this point, she also took on the stage name Carmen Electra. Paisley Park Records published her self-titled album “Carmen Electra” in 1993, but it flopped, and her singing career ended before it ever began.

Following that, she began working as a model, and Playboy magazine also offered her the opportunity to appear for them. In addition, she seized the opportunity and appeared in the May 1996 issue of Playboy magazine. As a result of this, she became quite popular and was allowed to replace Pamela Anderson on the hit television series “Baywatch.” She portrayed Lani McKenzie, a lifeguard, on the Baywatch television series from 1997 to 1998. She returned in 2003 to reprise her role in the reunion film “Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.” In addition, she made her film debut in 1997 as Sulka in the comedy-horror film “American Vampire.”
