After her grandmother died, her mother established a boarding house near the school where her sisters attended. Sarah later decided not to follow in her sister’s footsteps and attend the same institution. She chose to complete the midway grant at another school. Which provided a good expression program. In the end, this is what inspired her to pursue a career in acting in the future.
She was imprisoned in South Africa when the Second World War broke out, so she relocated to New Zealand. During which time she was caring for Sarah’s mother. Sarah’s mother had barely enough money after she passed out to leave for Voyaging. She met Sarah’s father while going through Papua New Guinea. Unfortunately, when she was 11 years old, her parents divorced. She attended St John’s Grammar School in Belair before enrolling in Scotch College in Torrens Park for her college education. She attended Sydney’s National Institute of Dramatic Art for Acting School and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.
