Career

Harvey started racing karts when he was nine years old. In the ICA-J class, he won the MSA Super One British title by a single point in 2006, as well as the Kartmasters British Grand Prix. He, then,  joined the Italian Maranello squad in the newly established KF3 category in 2007. By the conclusion of the year, he had won four trophies, including the Andrea Margutti Trophy, another Kartmasters title, the Italian Open Masters championship, and the European Championship in KF3. Harvey joined with the Birel Motorsport team as a KF2 driver for the 2008 season and won the Asia-Pacific Championship.

Harvey and Meyer Shank Racing will have a full program in 2021. Harvey got off to a slow start in Alabama on April 18. He had arguably his greatest weekend in IndyCar to that moment the following weekend in St. Petersburg, qualifying second and ahead of all of Chip Ganassi Racing’s, Team Penske’s, and three of the four Andretti Autosport vehicles. He finished fourth, his best IndyCar finish since 2019 and the best for Meyer Shank Racing since the team became autonomous.
