A British sports pundit and television host who spent 46 years with the BBC. Between 1960 and 2000, he covered eleven Summer Olympic Games and six FIFA World Cups.
Coleman hosted A Question of Sport for 18 years and presented some of the BBC’s most popular sporting programs, including Grandstand and Sportsnight (formerly titled Sportsnight with Coleman until 1972). In the year 2000, he left the BBC. Later that year, he became the first broadcaster to be honored with the Olympic Order for his contributions to the Olympic movement.
