Though he is known primarily for his hockey announcing, he has also called NFL Games for Fox and New York Cosmos soccer games. He got his start calling Rangers games alongside ex-Rangers star Phil Esposito in 1984. He was captain of the baseball team at both Stuyvesant High School and the City College of New York.
