Early life
John Corbett was born on 9th May of 1961 in the city called Wheeling of Ohio. His full name is John Joseph Corbett, and he is the son of John Marshall Corbett and Sandra Pavilack. When he was 2 years old, his parents tied their knot. He grew up in a Catholic family and spent 7 years of his childhood in St. Joseph’s Cathedral serving as a lay assistant.
As a child, John Corbett started having an interest in music. He learned guitar when he was 7 years old. In 1979, he graduated from Wheeling Central Catholic High School in West Virginia. He used to work as a security guard when he was 16 years old and also worked in Kaiser Steel after his graduation. He then decided to train but failed for L.A. County Deputy Sheriff position. After working for 6 years in the factory, he left the job due to a back injury. He studied hairdressing and earned the license in 1986. He decided to attend drama class attending Cerritos College during the day and theatre class at night.
