Daniel Michael DeVito Jr. also known as Danny DeVito, in short, is an actor/comedian/director/producer/screenwriter based in America. He gained attention from the role of Louie De Palma; a taxi dispatcher in the T.V. series Taxi. For his performance in the show, Danny DeVito has won a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award. Danny is also a voice-over artist, a theatre artist and was the co-owner of Jersey Films; a production company. He has a rare genetic disorder, multiple epiphyseal dysplasia which is the cause of his short structure.

Early lifestyle
Born to Daniel DeVito Sr.; a business owner and Julia DeVito on 17th November 1944 in Neptune Township, New Jersey, Daniel is the youngest of the three children. Daniel is a Catholic of Italian descent. He spent his childhood in Asbury Park. He completed his high school graduation from Oratory Preparatory School in the summit, New Jersey in 1962. He graduated in 1966 from American Academy of Dramatic Arts from where he is an alumni. He had appeared with the Colonnades Theater Lab at Eugene O’Neil Theater Center, Waterford.
