Brent’s paternal grandparents were David Spiner and Lena/Minnie Goldmilzc/Goldmintz. David was an Austrian Jewish immigrant. Lena was a Hungarian Jewish immigrant.

Brent’s maternal grandparents were Samuel “Sam” Schwartz (the son of Abraham Obie/Abbe Schwartz/Schwarz and Faygel “Fannie” Rohal Cohen) and Eva Reba/Reva Lensky (the daughter of Benjamin Lensky and Sarah Kocherovsky). Sam and Eva were both Russian Jewish immigrants.
