IMDB

#	Trademark
1	Always has a character named 'Kelly' in his projects; a 'silent love note' to his wife.
2	Frequently references the city of Chicago in his screenplays / movies

#	Fact
1	First ever television appearance was as a contestant on a Louisville, Kentucky, high school quiz show called, "Hi-Q".
2	First 'big' acting job was the lead role in a nationally-televised music video called "Feed Jake".
3	Describes himself as a 'textbook introvert'.
4	As a producer and director, likes to employ the old 'studio players' system of yesteryear; utilizing a reoccurring pool of actors in different roles for each project. Among his repeat performers are: Tom Luce, Melissa Combs, Matt Wallace, Pattie Crawford, Stella Davis, Tim Kelty, and Tina Jo Wallace.
5	Refused the lead in his first grade school play because of his chronic shyness - an affliction he still struggles with to this day.
6	A college drop-out who never studied acting, writing, nor filmmaking; his previous careers include: bouncer, restaurant manager, sales rep, inventor, print broker, and Kinko's account manager.
7	Walter Hill and Clint Eastwood influenced his directing style.
8	Cites Sylvester Stallone, Michael Keaton, and Jeff Bridges as his acting heroes.
9	Edits his own films under the alias 'Pate Walters' because, quote, "I get tired of seeing 'Jefferson Moore' all over the credits".
