1[on playing Michael Foster, a killer, in 'The Call'] It's a dark film, a very dark character. I did a lot of research on serial killers and people who are sick. I approached it from that angle, as someone who has an addiction and can't help what they have to do, but they do it anyway.
2[on playing the troubled bartender in 'Ferocious'] Eric is a darker character with a lot of humour and a lot of sadness and a lot of humanity, which is what I look for in my character. He's not a bad guy, he's more of the guy that got left behind and had a lot of heartache. I like playing characters with internal problems. So when I see [one] like that it jumps out on me, and I get all excited like a kid, to figure him out.
