Plant bulbs 4-6” deep in fall or very early spring (some nurseries only ship bulbs in fall, however).

How to plant lilies?

Dig a generous planting hole 8” deep. Put some all-purpose fertilizer in the bottom of the hole and mix it around to disperse. Add a few handfuls of loose soil back into the hole and then position the bulbs so they're 6 to 7 inches deep (follow instructions on the packaging). Lilies also grow well in pots.

How do you grow Orienpet lilies?

Choose a spot in full sun (at least six hours of direct sunlight each day) with well-drained soil, then place the bulbs in a hole that's 2 ½ times their height. Cover the bulbs with soil, pressing firmly to remove any air pockets, then water well. Orienpet lilies are hardy in Zones 4-9.
