The kuhli loach is a small eel-like freshwater fish belonging to the loach family. They originate from Indonesia and the Malay Peninsula. This snake-like creature is very slender and nocturnal.

Kuhli Loaches grow to a maximum of 5 inches, but it's more likely they will grow to between 3-4 inches in your aquarium.

Can you have one Kuhli Loach?

Kuhli Loaches need to be kept in groups preferably 6+ as they are very shy. So I would highly recommend keeping just one as you'd never see it. You can keep a group in a 20 Long however.
