Oculus Quest 2 Sold Out Through The End Of 2020 (Update)
The standalone headset won't arrive until January if you buy it from Amazon or Facebook's own Oculus website. The $299 device is sold out at Best Buy as well.
Why are Oculus Quest sold out?
Facebook said on Tuesday that it's temporarily halting sales of the Oculus Quest 2, a month before a planned update to a new entry-level model with more onboard storage. The move comes after several reported cases of skin reactions to the headset's included foam faceplate, the social media giant confirmed.
Has Oculus quest been discontinued?
After rumours circulated last week that Facebook would be improving the base Oculus Quest 2 by upping its storage capacity from 64GB to 128GB, today there's been confirmation.
