How to Cure Myopia?

For adults, myopia can be reversed with refractive surgery, also called laser eye surgery. A laser is used to reshape the corneal eye tissue and correct the refractive error. Laser eye surgery is not recommended for children. In fact, the FDA has not approved laser surgery for anyone under the age of 18.

Can myopia be cured naturally?

Well, unlike a virus or an infection, myopia is caused by the shape of your eyeballs, so unfortunately it can't be 'cured' using medicine, exercises, massage or herbal remedies. That's not to say there's nothing that can be done to restore your vision.

Does myopia get worse?

Yes, it can. Especially during growth spurts of the pre-teen and teen years, when the body grows quickly, myopia can get worse. At the age of 20, myopia usually levels off. It's also possible for adults to be diagnosed with myopia.
