Polteageist (Japanese: ポットデス Potdeath) is a Ghost-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII. It evolves from Sinistea when exposed to a Cracked Pot or a Chipped Pot. The item required depends on its form. The Phony Form (if it lacks a mark of authenticity) requires a Cracked Pot to evolve.

How do you evolve Polteageist?

Select the Cracked Pot, and use it on the Sinistea in your party. Doing this will immediately evolve the Sinstea into a Polteageist. Remember that unlike most other Pokemon evolutions, this evolution isn't tied to a specific level, so you can evolve your Sinstea no matter the level it's at.

How rare is a Polteageist?

Polteageist can be encountered only through Max Raid Battles. They will only appear as Rare (purple beams) encounters. Polteageist appear in more locations in the Sword version of the game. Locations exclusive to the Pokemon Sword version are lighlighted blue in the list below.
