The Two Hearted River is a river in the eastern Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. It is located entirely within McMillan Township within Luce County. The river runs approximately 23.6 miles (38.0 km) through forested wilderness, and drains into Lake Superior.
Why is it called Two Hearted River?
This river is near and dear to most Yooper's hearts. Located near Tahquamenon Falls, this river splits into two branches, hence the name "Two Hearted". Drawing inspiration from it's name as well as unique sandy banks, the Two Hearted River locket was born.
