When Turning Left You Must?

When Turning Left You Must?

Left Turn:
  1. Turn on the left turn signal before you make the turn and slow down.
  2. Look both ways and make sure that the oncoming lanes are clear.
  3. Make the turn from the designated lane (use left lane).
  4. Do not enter into the right lane. In some states, it is illegal to enter the right lane after the turn is completed.

What should you do when turning left?

When making a left turn, avoid cutting the corner so sharply that you run into someone approaching from the left. However, you must leave room for oncoming vehicles to turn left in front of you. Begin the turn in the left lane. Enter the two-way road to the right of its yellow dividing line.

When you are turning left you must yield?

Vehicles turning left must always yield to oncoming traffic unless they have a turn signal. Vehicles turning right may generally proceed after coming to a complete stop and verifying that there are not any cars in the through lane.
