Should Urine Be Colourless?

Should Urine Be Colourless?

If your urine is without visible urochrome or yellow pigment, it's considered colorless urine, appearing “clear” to you. This colorless urine is sometimes due to drinking an excess of water, while other times it can signal a problem with the kidneys.

Is it good if your pee is clear?

Clear. Clear urine indicates that you're drinking more than the daily recommended amount of water. While being hydrated is a good thing, drinking too much water can rob your body of electrolytes.

What color pee is healthy?

If everything is normal and healthy, the color should be a pale yellow to gold. That hue comes from a pigment your body makes called urochrome. The shade, light or dark, also changes.
