Leto has been plausibly identified with the Lycian goddess Lada; she was also known as a goddess of fertility and as Kourotrophos (Rearer of Youths).

Is Leto a god or goddess?

LETO was one of the Titanides (female Titans), a bride of Zeus, and the mother of the twin gods Apollon and Artemis. She was the goddess of motherhood and, with her children, a protectress of the young. Her name and iconography suggest she was also a goddess of modesty and womanly demure.

What are Leto's powers?

Powers & Abilities

Leto had the ability (like Artemis) to raise the moon and hunt in the dark. But Leto is the goddess of Motherhood, having quite a terrifying motherhood herself.
