Another poll from the same company, conducted between May 19–28 of 2021, with 1,227 participants, determined that 41.6% of Moldova would vote to unite with Romania if given a referendum within a week, and 67.3% of Moldova supported joining the EU. Another poll was organized in June 2021 by a group of several companies.

Is Romania different from Moldova?

Moldovan and Romanian are very similar. There are some dialectal differences, but nothing major. There is also some Russian influence in Moldova that isn't found in Romania. The standard written language is nearly identical between the countries.

Can Moldovans live in Romania?

An ETIAS authorisation will be required for every Moldovan citizen for short-stay period in Romania starting from 2021. A valid passport is required to enter Romania. All tourists entering Romanian territory from another (Schengen country) are exempted from presenting their passports to Romanian authorities.
