We prefer that your vehicle meets the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) standards so you don't need to pay the charge. If you do need to pay, charging days run from midnight to midnight, every day of the year (except Christmas Day).

The best way to check whether or not your vehicle is exempt from the ULEZ charge is to enter its registration number (number plate) into the ULEZ vehicle checker at the Transport for London website.

Do you pay ULEZ in 2021?

ULEZ expansion - October 2021

From 25 October 2021 the ULEZ boundary will be expanded from central London to create a single larger zone up to the North and South Circular Roads. The North and South Circular Roads are not in the expanded zone. Vehicles using these roads and not going into the ULEZ will not be charged.
