Proving Concyclic Points
- Finding the product of the lengths of the diagonals of the quadrilateral formed by the points.
- Finding the sum of the products of the measures of the pairs of opposite sides of the quadrilateral formed by the points.
- If these two values are equal, the points are concyclic.
Which points are concyclic?
Concyclic points
- In geometry, a set of points are said to be concyclic (or cocyclic) if they lie on a common circle. ...
- In general the centre O of a circle on which points P and Q lie must be such that OP and OQ are equal distances. ...
- The vertices of every triangle fall on a circle.
How do you prove that 4 points belong to the same circle?
The exercise solved by calculating the length between Z1 and O, then Z2 and O, then Z3 and O, then Z4 and O. Then they all gave the same result which means they all belong on the same circle.
