More than anything else, Enos wanted to be forgiven of his sins. As he continued to cry unto the Lord in prayer, he heard a voice say to him, “Enos, thy sins are forgiven thee, and thou shalt be blessed.” After having pleaded with the Lord for many hours, Enos must have been very tired.

Who did Enos pray for?

Enos then prayed for the salvation of the Nephites, but God said they would be blessed or cursed according to how they obeyed the commandments. Enos, fearing that the Nephites would refuse to obey the commandments of God, then prayed for the Lamanites who oppressed them, that at least they would avoid destruction.

How old was Enos when prayed?

Latter-day Saint scripture

The Doctrine and Covenants teaches that Enos was ordained to the priesthood at age 134.
