The EDGAR password expires annually, 12 months after it was created or last changed, and must be changed before the expiration date.

What are EDGAR filing codes?

SEC EDGAR filing codes are used to submit documents to the EDGAR system in addition to accessing online tools and web sites. These codes are created and provided when a company or insider registers with the SEC as an EDGAR filer.

Does a CCC expire?

The CCC does not expire. However, it can be changed as needed for security reasons. When changing the SEC EDGAR CCC or password, the changes need to be completed in two different locations: The SEC EDGAR website (see instructions below).
