Once you unlock the upgraded Nook's Cranny, you'll have access to some tools that are cosmetically different, like a colorful fishing rods and outdoorsy slingshots. Based on our tests, these have that same level of durability as the standard (non-Flimsy) tools. Note: Ladders, Vaulting Poles, and Wands do not break.

How long do colorful tools last?

Colorful Net: 30 uses. Outdoorsy Net: 30 uses. Star Net: 30 uses.

Do colorful slingshots last longer?

There is no flimsy Slingshot available. A regular Slingshot will last for 20 shots, but it only counts if you hit a balloon. Colorful and Outdoorsy Slingshots from the upgraded Nook's Cranny have similar durability. A Golden Slingshot will last for 60 shots.
