Are corgis good for beginners?

They are generally very friendly and outgoing dogs, but need a lot of early life socialization to really be comfortable and trusting. They are incredibly smart and agile and excel at dog sports like agility. If this is your first dog, you MUST be committed to training!

Corgis are intelligent, gentle, and incredibly cute. But, like all dogs, they need to be properly house trained to avoid making a mess on the floor. Through patience and positive reinforcement, you'll find it easy to get your puppy to do its business outside.
