The series concludes! It doesn't exactly go out with a whimper, but it's not a strong finish. Some loose ends get wrapped up, like Naru's relationship with her dad, but Yoshino-sensei oddly chooses to introduce a couple new elements with the story about to close.

Does Barakamon have happy ending?

5th Place at the exhibition aside, it was a pretty good ending for Handa-san. He won back the respect of the director, and came to realize that Gotou was a place that felt like home to him now.

Where does the Barakamon anime leave off?

Barakamon - The anime ends on chapter 52, and does skip a few chapters so I would recommend reading from the beginning.
