Vauxhall has rejected allegations that it cheated vehicle emissions tests in response to threats of legal action claiming that up to a million car owners could be liable for compensation due to mis-selling.
Is Vauxhall part of the emissions scandal?
Vauxhall is the latest car manufacturer to be caught up in the Dieselgate scandal after the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) found software designed to cheat emissions tests in certain Vauxhall diesel models. The regulator has ordered the carmaker to recall several of its models.
Can you claim against Vauxhall emissions?
If you have purchased or leased a Vauxhall diesel vehicle between 2008 and 2019, you may qualify for a claim. If Vauxhall has contacted you about a recall, emission software update or emission problem, you are eligible to claim.
