Global Entry membership lasts five years before it must be renewed, and it always expires on your birthday that fifth year.

How do I know when my Global Entry expires?

Determining when your Global Entry membership expires is substantially easier. For one, the expiration date of your Global Entry membership is printed on your Global Entry card. Global Entry members also will still receive a notification via email informing them of the program's expiration date.

What happens if your Global Entry expires?

The Global Entry grace period means you can continue using Global Entry benefits for up to 24 months if you apply for renewal before your existing membership expires. If you miss this deadline to begin the renewal process, you won't get the benefit of the grace period.
