RTA uses electronic fareboxes in all fixed route buses. The fareboxes will accept coins, cash and passes. Passes are the size of a credit card, printed on sturdy paper with a magnetic stripe on the back.
How do you pay for the bus in Cleveland?
BUS: When your bus arrives, let it come to a complete stop, and board. Pay your fare with exact change, or swipe your pass or farecard through the farebox. PROOF OF PAYMENT: The Red Line Rapid and HealthLine BRT on Euclid Avenue use a Proof of Payment system. Be sure you pay your fare before you board.

You can use your Emirates Islamic RTA Credit Card like the RTA Nol Card (for making fare payments on the RTA transit network and Parking Meters), as well as a Credit Card (for making purchases and cash withdrawals).
