As far as the height of your drawer hardware, the classic choice is to center them vertically. With multiple drawers stacked on top of each other, choosing this placement makes each knob a little lower and harder to reach.

Should drawer pulls be centered?

Pulls should be placed horizontally on drawers. For small drawers (less than 24'' wide) center the knobs or pulls in both directions. Just like on larger drawers, pulls should be placed horizontally. Knobs and pulls can also be placed centered at the very top of the drawer panel, where the drawer rail begins.

Where should Handles go on drawers?

DRAWERS. When it comes to cabinetry drawers — tab, edge or finger pulls should be installed to the top edge of the drawer. In most cases, for the best functionality long term, we recommend that the tab pulls be installed equally on center.
